Hey guys,

Finally convinced the wife to let me have a project car so I'm looking at buying another Micra to work on.

Which ones are best for tuning and modification? I'm looking to lower it and eeek out any extra performance thats there. I'm just totally out of the loop when it comes to our favourite Jap Classic.

Hi Steve,
I would always go for a 2000-2002 2nd face lift 1.4 plenty of power and very nippy not bad road holding but totally upgradable!

£800 to anything for low mileage. The 1.4 is a real beauty, you'll love it.
There's a 1.4 sport+ on Ebay right now for £795.....go get.

I'm tempted to get rid of my 3 series if I'm honest and run the Micra as my main car.

I'm tempted to check this one out, depends how serious the damage is. If it's just bodywork then I can live with repairing it, but of the actual chassis is damaged then I'm not sure I could do it

When you do change, you won't go back. I drove Jaguars for over 30 years.....now Micra power for me.
