leaning out

I have read that you kink a line when you need to stop your micra engines from running lean when doing the cold air intake and 4-2-1 headers. Could you do the same if you got an adjustable regulator?

Are there different series of engines for the micra (after info in 1.3l) and which one would be the pick for an engine that was going to get supercharged/turboed at a later date.

Note this engine is for a 1964 retro fit into a MINI!!
thanks

You don't need to kink the line if you put in an adjustable regulator. Which will do the same job. When we were in canberra mighty's and my car both went on the dyno with similar mods at the time. Mighty's on standard fuel pressure pulled an extra kw and was diagnosed as a little lean but not bad. So maybe save your $$$$$$$$

a k11 will never lean out enough to do damage on a standard ecu due to modifications, it will of course if a part is faulty, until you start maxing out the maf.
