Knockhill radical

I was at Knockhill watching a track day on sat. There was a super fast radical bombing it round the track, but the guy made a very bad mistake in not tighting up his wheel nuts. Luckily there didn't look like there was much dammage, but i didn't get to see the side where the wheel came off. It was quite funny when the others there found out what happened, they all got the wheel nut spanners out

Anyways, moral of the story is: Check your nuts often!

Ouch, I'm amazed he didn’t notice. FYI this can cause irreparable damage to your wheels if made from alloy. And causes massive stress on the bolts. I once experienced this, but it didn’t take long to work out what it was, its usually very noticable

He was on the track for hours b4 it happend so I would have thought that he would have noticed b4 too, so i can only thing it was some other kind of mechanical brakage that made it come off, but as I didn't see the dammaged side i guess we will never know.
