knock noise

any ideas what the knock noise could be coming from front left hand side somewhere, only sems to happen mostly stopping and starting quickly and on bumps.
is thet any known faults with something in that area

Yah, had the same problem with mine. Shop around a little. You can get it fixed relatively cheap. Might want to have them check the other side too and save you some trouble a couple of months from now.

I have a tapping...........not sure where thats coming from,any ideas!?!?!?

gazo,,could be engine mount bolts broken,,mine did this,,wen the engine moves on acceleration and braking is wen you will hear it

most probably be ball joint tho

I have the same problem, but i hear a squeeking noise when accelerating and braking - would that be an engine mount too?

I have the same problem too. But only since lowering the car, only really does it when pulling off though

When I had a noise like this it was the bushes on the suspension arm! It sounded like knocking - but was actually just creaking! (thoght it was the ball joint first! - ruled that out by oiling it!)
