Hi all...I have a 2005 1.4 micra sve..I ha e had loads of problems with the intelligent key or keyless entry system and have replaced the ecu kit twice and now it's playing up again..sometimes I will get in the car and it will start first time, but after a while of driving it will just cut out and not start again. When it does cut out it's like the imobaliser has kicked in, the ignition will turn but the car will not turn over and the electric windows and wipers will not work.
If I disconnect the battery and leave it for a day or 2 it will start again but after a while it will cut out and the process starts all over again.
I have seen a normal keyed ecu kit on the internet...would anyone know if I could fit a normal keyed ecu kit into a keyless entry car.
Any help would be greatly appreciated
