Key code for radio/cd player

Hello
I have a 2005 micra and had to change the battery recently - and now the radio/cd player is asking for a code. I wasnt given a handbook when I bought the car and dont have a code. It is a factory fitted radio/cd player and not sure how to get it out to look for a model/serial number. The only number I have found is 55610190794 but not sure if this is the serial number.

Hope someone can help please

if it begins BP then yes it is, But you have 1 digit short there should be 12. but with the digits you have posted it generates the code: 2672 and 0672

I tried both of those codes but neither worked....thanks anyway. Now it just says 'wait 1H' . Think I might just have to take it to a dealer - but not impressed as they want £25!

Rabbitmoon - remove your headunit (see my sig for link) and get us the serial number - won't cost you a penny :).

I have finally managed to get to the radio on my Nissan Micra - thanks for your advice. I now have the details as follows:

Blaupunkt WERKE GMBH
BP3349 5 8128823

Nissan MM CD-K
7 643 349 318 and another number alongside this 022458

Hope you are able to assist with the code

That would be great, thanks, however my radio is still saying 'WAIT 1H'. I'm assuming I have to leave the engine running with the radio on for at least an hour for this to clear???

No need to leave the engine running :eek:. try 9600 or 1200, how's that for service :grinning:.

'WAIT 1H' finally disappeared today - after giving the car quite a long run. Tried code 9600 and it worked first time - I'm so happy! Thankyou once again.

Info for anyone waiting for 'WAIT 1H' to go - we just did quite a long journey with the radio switched on, and it just returned to '0000' (asking for the code) which Guy had kindly found for use. Just entered it and it worked 1st time - not sure what would have happened had we turned the radio off before entering the code - it possibly may have started counting again and we would have probably had to wait again. We didnt take any chances and entered the code before turning off and all is fine now.

how long did u wait for the WAIT 1H sign to go as i have been waiting for the last 4 days and i've tried everything i could but no luck
 
I need to find out the code for my nissan micra 05. The serial number is BP334958134119. Also once I've got the code, how do I ener it?

Need part number as well, not just serial number ;)

I think to put the code in you press numbers 1 to 4 the number of times of the number needed
eg: code is 1234
You'd press 1 once, 2 twice, 3 thrice and 4 four times ^_^
Then enter/volume or Ta depending on your system

Hi, I just bought my Nissan Micra (2005) by a Dealer and they provided me the car without user guide and with the radio asking for the code ! I managed to remove the radio and I got both the model ( BP 334958130131 ) and the serial (7643349318). Is there somebody able to provide me the code ?

If the BP number definitely ends in 0 then try 0393
If it ends in 6 then try 0867

With the numbers you've given, my calculator isn't giving me a second code, could be my app playing up <_<

Please please can you help. I changed my battery and don't have a code. Just had someone pull it out to see if a code was on there but it wasn't. I did find the serial numbers though.i have
BP334958147730
And
7643349318

Really hope you can help with a code. Big thanks

Daughter's just bought her first car...1996 micra, but we don't have the radio code.

The serial number is BP6340T3155179

parts number 7646340318

If anyone knows the code that would be brilliant.
