Kangaroo Petrol

My 1.2 S Micra thinks it's a kangaroo. It runs very rough after it warms up. Sometimes you have no power at all. After a 50mile trip on Saturday the car stalled just as we parked outside the house and there was a warm smell coming from the car. Started straight away though.

What could be wrong?

Maybe the recent flood water has got into the petrol!! As it sounds like that nationwide problem a few months back lol!!

Something to do with the oxygen sensor maybe?!!

Yeah K12's don't like rain very much lol. I've had trouble starting mine before when it's rained super heavy. But when it drys out a bit its fine.

does it happen every journey?

my car had a hickup one day: it stalled, when i restarted it (quickly to keep traffic moving) it wasn't running right... the rev limiter was cutting in a 2.5k revs!! (instead of 7k+)

making it jump around, all jerky like..

after i pulled over and turned off and on again, all was fine!

for me, it seems my ECU/engine-management didn't reset/initialise properly during the quick cutout&restart

problem never came back.

also , 99 ron tesco fuel shouldn't be a prob.
