K12 with a K13 mirror?

Hi,

I have a 2010 K12 which had its passenger side mirror smashed off. Unfortunately I've really struggled to find a replacement mirror as it's the K13 style boxy mirrors on the car.

I've bought a K13 mirror thinking it would fit and the part that attaches to the car is the wrong size and the screws are too far apart.

I can't find the type of mirror I need for my car anywhere. Does anyone know a specific part number? Or maybe where I can get the right mirror?

I think technically yes! The mirrors on my micra are these ones, but the k12 fitting version of them. I have no idea why most K12s have the kind you have linked and the 2010 models have the newer ones. But I just can't find them anywhere?

I may have to just give up and buy the older type but it would've been nice to have it matching my drivers side!

Might be worth a shot, thanks! I think the issue might be that it was the same year that they brought out the K13 and they've used the newer mirror units with the older car and modified the it to have the old bracket. So the k13s don't fit and the k12s aren't the right shape ?

Think I've e worked it out! Wasn't aware that mine is the K12c which is known as the face-lift model. Therefore had the newer mirrors, managed to find some through wingmirrorman.com.uk albeit rather pricey at least I know what I need now!
