K12 single to double din

I know that this can be done if I buy a converting kit but just wondered if it was easier to swap out the part of the dashboard that holds the stereo.......heading to the scrappies later today on the look out for some stuff and may add a double din to the list lol.....

Yep, I believe you can literally swap the single din (with box or trip computer) for double (such as 6 disc changer, later blutooth stereo)
