The 'BP'part of the quote is important as that signifies that the radio was made by 'BlauPunkt', which is the only make that I can decode. something that has been repeated on here numerous times ...........and something a few people seem to miss......
I don't think that you will as the 'CL' number that you already posted shows that your radio was made by Clarion, not BlauPunkt.........
That’s what the logbook said, but it did not work, I might need to remove the radio itself to check the serial no. on it

I'm in an urgent need of the code for my mother's Radio code, she's departing for a holiday tomorrow afternoon and she's quite desperate about it ?
I have looked pretty much everywhere on the web but I still can't, for the life of me, find the code or a working generator... if anybody could help, it would be wonderful. Thank you in advance

I have a question, though... when you put in a wrong code, a 1hr timer starts... does the radio need to stay turned on for the entire time in order for that timer to go away?... I turned it on after 5 hours and it still has that message on the display.

The code works. I wrote it in my notes so that if this happens again in the future we're safe XD

Well if 'BL' is a typo and it really is 'BP' then your code will be either 9566 or 1566.......
It was a typo yes and thanks 9566 worked radio back up and running after 2 years. You're a star.

Hi, I have a silly question! My radio works fine but I melted the front of it with solvent by mistake. I bought this part thinking ill just hook it onto the old radio. My question is will this part be coded? Or is it the actual Radio units that are coded?

Thanks, John. I'm new to the forum but I think I read a guide from you a while back on how to modify the controls around the heater dials and behind them. That was a life saver!
