I have an obd2 scanner i bought for £25 off ebay
Pile of #### for reading codes it shows an error but nothing for the code
It does allow switching off engine management light though.

Search ebay for Autel Maxiscan.
I bought one years ago, and for the money they are great! We have fany big machines now but for quick diagnostics this machine still earns its keep!
Think they are about £50 now.

Hi, do you know which model of maxiscan to buy? As I am hoping someone who has used one successfully can recommend. I have a micra 1.5 diesel 54 plates with power steering fault. Hopingto clear the code and see if it works.

Autel Maxiscan MS509 seems to do everything, it's the one I have.
