K12 additional parcel shelf speakers wire connection.

Hi, I have fitted parcel shelf speakers and run cable to the back of the stereo ( pioneer Deh 4700bt) and connected to the R & L Rca connections but have no sound. Is there another way to connect please?

And you didn't use parcel shelf as a template and made speaker shelf from plywood, with upholstery? Be ready boy-racer rattle/distortion sound!
Why RCA? Those are for amplifier signal!
Connect wires directly to the back of your Pioneer speaker connectors.
