K12 1.0 problem

Hello

My 2002 Micra 1.0 has been making what I first thought was wind noise at about 60mph, it's a whining noise just as you would imagine wind noise to be.

But coming back through town last night at about 20mph the noise started again, when you touched the brakes it stopped, when you took the brakes off it started again and so on.

Does anyone have any expereince of this, or know what it might be?

Have you changed the break pads recently? wheel bearing? front end, Back end engine bay give us a clue. Even better if you could get some one in the car with you and record the noise on there phone then upload it.

Sory, noise is coming from front drivers side wheel, or sounds like it.

Taking it into the garage on Mondat to check pads and bearings, thank you for your pointers.

Rear wheel bearing on K12s are actually made from cheese, dunno about the fronts though..?
