I have a new throttlebody on order for my 1994 Pre-FL K11.
However to settle the randomly hunting idle down I am removing the lead which is located furthermost towards the drivers (right hand drive) wing facing towards the drivers windscreen. Doing so brings up the n-cvt light.
I am wondering am I ok to drive it like this for essential runs only to for food etc as where I live stores are a drive away. Obviously I am taking it easy and putting in N before I drop up 20mph to ease the strain since with the lead removed the idle in D or DS seems to be at estimate (L spec no tac) 1,100rpm. But with the lead it randomly jumps from 800-2000rpm.
