K11 starter motor

Can i remove and replace the starter motor from the engine bay only, or will i need to jack the vehicle up and approach from beneath too?

last time i helped my friend do his we got it from the bottom of the car seemed easier so i would go from both ways mate

Thank you for your replies. It's the 1 litre, so there's plenty of room in the bay. Suppose the only way is to get my hands dirty and give it a go (Y)
