K11 Micra Island Paradise!

Hi fellow Micranauts living on an island 26sq miles without MOT and in the past having a government department purchasing many K11's has led to an abundance K11's of all models and types still legally being in use has made unintentionally a K11 spotters paradise! I do admit through part of my employment driving I have become a bit of a Micra spotter (Micranaut) and whilst on the road I see many Micra's throughout the day which has prompted me to put on my anorak and record (photo's) the various K11 Micra's I encounter I will of course delete the registration details!

I will start the ball rolling with my very own cherished Rouge 5077 and Le Petit Vert 26767 and also a shabby silver 2001 1.4 SE and also a really battered pre face lift 1000cc!

The next Micra's are always parked within 30ft of Rouge5 and my workshop!

Hi here are a few more island based K11's!

This Tempest is in very good condition I like the colour wouldn't mind owning her it's a shame she's not for sale!

I have the chance of buying this metallic light silver 1.3i GX she is in fairly good nick body needs a tidy up the 4 digit reg is worth more then the Micra!

This Red 1.3i GX belongs to a friend who is in the process of "pimping" it up not sure about the wheels she needs some serious lowering of the springs!

Hi spotted this K11 yesterday, a late 2001/2002 1.3S in good condition with a few marks on the bodywork especially around the rear end but no visible rust anywhere, the interior looked clean. Maybe a small rear roof spoiler and original Micra 5 spoke alloys would enhance her looks could be a quick nice and easy project!

Nice original light grey metallic finish

The way the paint has come off seems strange looks like something has actually pulled the paint off!

Hi been very busy working on Rouge 5 lately but still have managed to "spot" many more K11's in all conditions here's a few:

This lovely White 1.3i S was parked by work the interior/exterior were in very good condition!

The owner of this 1.4SE auto obviously liked flowers!

A real white "rust bucket" with bits falling off it, wonder if it would pass the MOT up there on the "big rock" lol!

I have been busy working on Rouge 5 but have been "Micra Spotting" around the island!

First up is a "tatty" 2002 CVT Auto 1.4SE+!

Here's a shabby first facelift model with factory fitted sunroof the paintwork is peeling in places!

A 3 door red face lift model with sprayed black bumpers and some dubious looking wheel covers!

A 3 door white GX with need of some TLC!

A lovely red 3 door L in very good condition inside and out I'm in love lol!

And nearly always silver, and the in the same spot. Silver is quite a soft paint.

Now that you mention it yeah it is almost always silver and on the boot hatch

I have seen it on a few red cars as well. That's a soft paint as too.

I have seen this peeling affect on many metallic silver cars mostly on the rear end (wonder why) and on early to 2002 models, seems like Nissan never solved the problem!

Spotted this little beaut the other day tailed the driver to her home and then made an offer for this Gold 1.3SR, the owner said I could have her when they sell her in a few months, she needs a bit of TLC but will make a great project what do you think??

Hi guys and girls,
I have had time to spot some more island K11 residents in between work and paying some attention to my Rouge 5 project "spotted these 3 all within 60 mins lol!

This first Red 1.3 has been slightly "pimped" not bad nick but I am not sure if I like the black wheel covers also it's crying to be lowered but each to one's own!

Quite a neat looking metallic silver 1ltr!

This is my favourite I like the blue colour of this (2001) 1.4 SE shame about the wheels but it would make a good little project!

Spotted this blue 1.3ltr in the Waitrose car park liked the colour and looked quite neat until I clocked the passenger side!

Ouch!

This original black 1.3 GX looked like a mean machine but needs a lot of TLC the drivers side rear door was a bit rotten the interior looked great it had a unusual Nissan sport steering wheel and a original walnut dash I want her lol!

A wee bit of rust on the door!

I went down to Weymouth/Portland earlier on this week and I've never seen so many K11's before, wasn't really counting but for the couple of hours i was down there, i must of seen at least 20+

Hi mate I have been thinking a lot about the K10 she is in very good condition a few spots of rust on the body nothing major wonder how much she is worth? Might make the owner an offer lol!

It's usually pretty hard to put a price on a K10, they vary so much in price, but since that one is clean i'd say around £450-500? maybe a bit more
