K11 Idle speed

My K11 seems to judder a lot when idling, which makes me think that the idle speed is too low. Should the idle speed be controlled by the ECU via an idle control valve? Or do I have to set it using the throttle stop screw?

theres an idle speed screw on the left hand side of the throttle body ( sorry got no pic )

when cold the IAV should open and idle at 1200rpm
then once warm up it idles down to 750rpm

if it idles faster from cold then slows down when warm then the IAV's workin. if not, clean it.

then if the idle is too slow when warm, unscrew the allen key adjuster behind the TB
