K11 Gold headlight question?

Does anyone know if having a gold reflective headlight is legal?

I've just steamed the glass of the front of my Micras headlight & I have a tin of gold chrome effect spray. I await some feedback as to what I should do.:glance:

I know it might seem gairish but the gold spray I'm considering using is virtually like chrome anyhow. I might have to use one of my spare headlights as a tester & take a picture to get some feedback.

gold is kool very jap!! i would like to see what it looks like!! if its not too heavy the old pigs wont say nothing because the bulbs light will shine through the layer of paint.

MOT would not fail i think over that, as long as it isnt too heavy.

oooh thats an interesting idea on a black car that would look really swish

you should be fine, as long as the spray is heat proof, you may need to use a whiter bulb to get a clear colour...

as for legal stuff, it should cos my reflectors have a layer of laqure on them that has frosted it and so it doesn't reflect as much as it should but as long the light levels are equal on both lights you should be fine... would look better on clear lenses tho...
