Can I get a turbo for my 1.2 GS K10?

Wish it was as easy as that mate. Someone on here (mcmitten I believe?) started a project that involved putting a Renault 5 turbo on the MA12 but I haven't heard from him in ages.

Isnt all that renault 5 turbo stuff up for sale in buy and sell? it sounds like a good project but i guess its not been successful as yet.

Also some K10's came with straight turbos. the engine codes are MA10ET, usually found in Figaro's (they have auto gearboxes though). I've seen some pop up on Yahoo Auctions in Japan!

Like most things micra though, things like turbo kits, bodykits etc! just aren't commercially available!

Not to put you off though... If you're prepared to put some effort in finding and fabricating bits it could be worthwhile. Be something a bit different anyway...

After Long Research, I found out my Micra could have a Turbo alreaddy

Who said that? You dont need to research anything, open the bonnet and you know within seconds.

I dont understand, how did you not know you had a turbo? You would have seen it if you lifted the bonnet and especially when you were driving.

i have a 1.2 gs k10 and it definately isnt turbo\'d although i also have 2 r5 gt turbo engines and a spare turbo, so i was thinkin about converting it, or putting one of the engines in it. but the insurance is the problem.

were working on one at the moment! carb is okay for turboing according to a carb specialist we took it to, i thought it wouldnt like boost.
