k10 suspension!

After always thinking the front of my K10 is too high compared to the back I thought i would cut a coil off the front springs.

now the springs are too short for the dampers!!!!!!!!!!!

with the nuts tightened fully they are still lose.

does anyone know what other front springs and shocks will fit onto the micra??? heard of mk2 golf set up is identical.

I am really gutted cause i need to pay out for some new springs and i paid 100 quid for the spax ones...

am really after some that are like link so the height can be adjusted. any one got any springs they wanna sell me????

Oh dear. You should never ever ever EVER cut springs!! The only way to truly do it correctly would be to get shorter dampers as well as springs, or as some coil over kits have, a shorter/weak spring that always maintains the spring in the shocks if they try to jump out.. Youll need to get new springs not alot else you can do im afraid. Im sure somone here will have some springs you can have.
