K10 info

Just out of interest, i was wondering where the chassis number is stamped on the K10?

i know about the one under the bonnet, but is there anymore?

i dont think so i havent seen any apart from the 2 under the bonnet

there is just one stamped on the middle of the bulkhead under the bonnet, i've never seen any others on the k10 and i've stripped several bare

no, i was havin a discussion with a ford owner friend of mine and he said that it was plastered all over his new ford, practically on every panel. to which i replied, i think theres only one on my k10 and thats under the bonnet. to which he replied, well thats easy to 'cut and shunt' int it.... more garbish... then i said im sure theres only one, ill ask people in the club as someone will no, better than me

Even the old fords had one in the engine bay and one next to the drivers seat under a flap.

My ford, 1989 Orion, has 2 under the engine bay, and the registration stamped on every piece of glass.

pah, thats new in comparison :laugh: I had a 1975 scrote- which also had registrations etched on the glass. They weren't all the same though.........
