Is my ma12 carb a twin choke? as taking a gander i spotted it had 2 chambers!!

and when putting my foot down it give a lovely grunt....even with the standard airboox on.


it states on wikipediea that it is electonically controled? how does this setup work?


And why oh why did nissan put pipe feeding hot air from the manifold into the airbox?

yes carbs twin choke, i think the electronically controlled part refers to the ecc system on late 1.2s super s i think and the hot air feed is for cold days to make it start and run smoother i took mine off and its abit lumpy on cold mornings at start. think im right someone will have to say wether i am lol hope this helps
