K&N Oil Filter

Does anyone know which K&N oil filter will fit the K11?

Their site doesn't display one, but I'm reasonably confident that there will be something that fits (but may be longer than OEM, so not displayed).

(Reason I ask for K&N is because they are wrench off filters, meaning I need to carry one tool less !)

I use these original ones to be honest. I've always just unscrewed them with my hand. The only time they get stuck is if they've been tightened up too much and left on too long.

Problem with the OEM ones is that if they do seize, and I'm in the middle of nowhere without a oil filter wrench, I'm pretty screwed

That link I gave you shows that it's the same filter for the k12 and the Note. Maybe K&N have those listed that you can use.

Drive a screwdriver through the filter and use that to undo it. Never done it personally because I'm such a hardy lad but know friends who swear by that lol

Sadly KN don't do any micra oil filters, K10-K13...

Pipercross do for the k11 or at least they used too. Not sure if they still do

There are k&n ones on ebay for the k10 but not k11
