Can anyone help?
I've spent this afternoon attempting to replace the rear wheel bearings on my 2003 1.0e K12 micra.
I have the new bearings that are in the form of a larger metal cylinder containing the two bearings but when I took the brake drum off my car it all looks different!
There appears to be an inner taper roller bearing on the inner part of the stub axle and a pressed in bearing in the brake drum for the outer bearing. I thought that I may have pulled the bearing apart when I took off the drum but the new bearing does not appear to fit on the stub axle, the inner diameter is too small. There is a big grease seal on the inner taper roller bearing as well thats totally different to the new part.
Can anyone give me a clue what I'm either doing wrong or looking at?
Thanks.
