Just installed new ga15tb.

Hi guys.

I just installed a GA15TB. The car seems really slow to pick up when I put the peddle to the metal. What could cause this??? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

here,s mine with an SR20 t/b and blue 1.0/1.4 injectors, closed looping @ cruise, then off the scale lean when booted, and pulling like a stock 1.0

and here it is with (red 211cc) QG injectors, off the scale rich @ wot, and pulling like a 15.4 sec 1/4 miler

try richen the mix with a piggyback computer - I have a SAFC2 and it runs great. Search the forums there are posts when sodaniel 1st put his in about using a piggyback.

im watching your posts john as I have a ga15tb as well which I was going to try to get ga15 injectors for, does the UK have these injectors? (anyone). I read somewhere that the jap ones dont fit, is this true?

the UK GA16 ones are a direct fit rudy (black 198cc) mine ran rich @ low throttle. and kept flooding @ startup with those (mine still has the 1.0 ecu tho)

I ended up adjusting the accelerator cable, and the car runs better now... All I had to do was swap over the accelerator cable bracket from the original cg tb, and reset thE throttle cable tension to the original position.

Where to from here guy??? Should I aim for an exhaust system, ecu, or ga15 injectors???

i would check your a/f/r,s first john, you,re probably running about 5hp less than stock atm
a voltmeter on the middle lambda wire will give you some idea

similar to the 2 gauge vids i posted earlier john, bouncing at around .4v to .7v (closed looping) @ cruise, .9v @wot means you,re off the scale rich, and 0v (off the scale lean) @ lift

i'm running GA15 tb and GA15 injectors can't say i've had any issues, up until recently when the car started to kangaroo, but i think that's because the tb needs resoldering
