Heard a few rumours that a facelift 1litre flywheel can take a 1.3 clutch ? Is this true ?
Also does anyone know what's the max hp a 1.3 clutch can take without slipping? Thanks

From searching parts websites and measuring my own clutch .
1 litre prefacelift clutch-160mm 16teeth
But I can also get the same for 1.3
180mm 18teeth clutch won't fit my gearbox as it's 16teeth ?
Does anyone know what one I've to find thanks

What are you looking at running powerwise? My boosted 1.0 ran a diddy prefacelift 160mm LUK clutch and never slipped once with multiple hard launches on semi slicks.

About 130hp NA, thinking of making the hybrid clutch , with the cg10 centre and cg13 180mm friction plate

the facelift 1.0 and 1.3/1.4 use the same clutch finto, so a hybrid wont fit

the hybrid uses the 160mm input shaft spline with the 180mm friction face, and about 100hp

The standard 1.3 LUK clutch i just removed had done three hard years of rallying abuse and was in perfect condition (ignore the oil on it from the gearbox, that wasn’t a clutch issue) and that is with 126bhp.

i have a two new clutchs 1.0 and 1.3. But what flywheel should I be using ? I currently have a cg10 . I can get a facelift flywheel to suit 180mm clutch

The 1.3 clutch I have is some Japanese brand, have it a few years just sitting in the shed
