Is 163,000 miles too many?

Just looking at a 1.3 1998 facelift with this many miles, is it even worth considering?

My run around's on about 166k and shes still running like a beaut. These engine will last forever as long as you take good care

my 2004 1.0 K12 has 139,000 miles on it now, change it with 5w40 magnetec every 8,000 and you cant even hear the engine, purrrrrrrrrrrrrfect

Id say you could double 163k on that car if you wanted to look after it... its clearly already been well looked after service wise or it just wouldnt have lasted that far to begin with. But the mileage gives you a great price bargaining point ;-)

Im defo doing the 'top gear challenge' with my car to see just how bloody long it lasts

could of done just a lot of motorway miles which in turn is alot easier on the car in general than city driving!
