Interior Light doesnt come on when doors open

Interior light works ok when I switch it on manually by using the switch on it, but doesn't come on when either of the doors are open. Both switched on the door frame look in good condition. Any ideas??

The reversing light doesnt work as well, is this related or a seperate issue?

Have you checked your fuses.... If that's no good I'd maybe pick up two more of the door light actuators from a scrap yard for a pound or two first and go from there x

Agree with clodo sounds like door sensors Mine was knackered when I got mine

Its usually the switch up inside the light,unclip it from the roof and on the reverse of the switch is a pin that rocks back and forth with the switch,they make contact with flimsy pins that often bend back too far,have a play pushing those back in a bit and miving the switch to test
