Inner CV Boot...

mines is split so how do i fix it, cant find a joint or a boot for it so is it a new driveshaft?? cheers stani

they come apart stani (a big circlip on mine), just fit a new boot eh

are the boots the same as the outer ones?? and off the top of my head when you take the joint apart isnt there still a part on the end of the shaft which a boot wont be able to get over?? or am i wrong

just a little circlip holding the spider on, or slide the boot on the other end (universal boot) :grinning:

hmm that ive never seen before....i thought it looked like something else, i think its because my inner joint on one of my old car was split and there was like 3 bits that come off the end of the driveshaft with balls/bearings on it, im guessing it wasnt meant to do that lol

so just go buy a universal cv boot off ebay?? anything i need to know or show anyone be fine??

yeh, thats a 1.3 shaft, universal boot and trim to suit eh
