Indicator Lights Problem

About 3 times now over the last couple of months when I'v been driving both indicator lights on my dials have lit up for a few minutes and then gone off again. Beacuse I was driving when it happened I cant check if the actual lights are on on the car or if its just a fault with my dials. All the indicators work fine but Im a bit worried becaue if it happens at night I cant really drive round with all my indicator lights on permanent (presuming it doesnt switch off like it has been doing). Any hints/tips?

Check the hazard switch and the wiring around it as it may be something earthing/making a connection when it shouldn't.

well if you just pull the switch out you could check to see if any of the wiring is frayed etc.

Do you have remote central locking or an alarm that connects to the indictators?

yes i do modded i have the NATS on mine

Mine has done this twice since i got it, both indicators (hazards) for only a few seconds, been fine for half a year so i aint looked at it
