The point of the idol improvement of super-the march turbo was brought together based on the content described in "Maintenance manual".
- Mechanism of idol improvement
Idol rotation control system
The amount of the inhalation air at the close throttle valve all time is controlled with the idol improvement solenoid, the FICD solenoid, and the air regulator installed in the IAA unit according to an air conditioner load, various electric loads, and the state of warmth and states of driving of the engine.
- Operation condition of idol improvement solenoid
When you turn on [riyadefogga-suicchi].
When you turn on the light switch.
When you turn on the radiator fan switch.
The idol improves for about four minutes when the voltage of the battery becomes 12V or less.
When you turn on the blower motor fan switch.
- Operation condition of FICD solenoid
When you turn on the airconditioning switch.
The IAA unit is done the lid of rubber when seeing from the right side of the car in the aluminum just before ECCS block, and when this is removed, sees the stretching screw on the inside. There are no only one center lid of rubber in the image. The lid of rubber also actually has the possibility of disappeared everything. )
There is a small stamp of F when the engine room is seen from the right side of the car, and the leftmost removes the lid of rubber by the FICD adjustment screw. Next, there is an oval hole. (An oval hole secretly becomes and is not seen about the cable in the image. )｡The right side of an oval hole (stretching screw at the center when in a word, there are three pieces) is an idol improvement adjustment screw (A part of the stretching screw is seen in the interior of the hole in the image). The right side (in a word front side of the car) is an idol adjustment screw. (It is a confusing name. ) There is a stamp of S in the idol adjustment screw small.
The fuel-air mixture that flows in [manifo-rudo] increases if both the FICD adjustment screw and the idol improvement adjustment screw are loosened, the solenoid is operated at the same time, and the rotation goes up.
- Way of idol adjustment
The FICD adjustment screw (left side) and the idol improvement adjustment screw (screw at the center) are lightly first closed and it crowds.
The idol adjustment screw (right side) is adjusted so that idling may become 750 rotations at a no load.
The FICD adjustment screw (left side) is adjusted so that idling may go up from 750 rotations of the standard to about 950 rotations with the air conditioner turned on.
The idol improvement adjustment screw at the center is adjusted so that the idol turn may increase by about 150 rotations with the electrical load hung.
The idol adjustment screw on the part of the rightmost has been described according to the manual, "When a change with the lapse of time is caused in the allotment of the inhalation air and the amount of supplementary air in the state of the idol, the throttle valve and the solenoid correct the scale of assessments by the idol adjustment screw".
It puts into the state in short, without the air conditioner and the electric load though the description of the manual is a cramped expression, and the idling rotation at a no load is adjusted by the idol adjustment screw (right side) to about 750 rotations. And, the FICD adjustment screw (left side) is adjusted so that idling may go up to about 950 rotations putting the load of the air conditioner. Next, the rotation adjusts the idol improvement adjustment screw at the center compared with a no load putting the electrical load with the air conditioner cut so that about 150-rotation rise, that is, idling rotational speed may become about 900 rotations.
There is the following possibilities when the adjustment doesn't work well.
The ?FICD adjustment screw or the idol improvement adjustment screw is too open.
The inside of ? adjustment screw is dirty. Especially, because the idol improvement adjustment screw might be dirty, the adjustment screw is slowly loosened, detached while spraying a lubrication spray, and Wess wipes the adjustment screw and the inside.
? solenoid is a defective possibility. If the adjustment screw is loosened, not only it be that but also the rotation should go up because a lot of fuel-air mixtures flow in [manifo-rudo], and the solenoid be checked because it is a mechanism (turning on the solenoid and making a signal to the computer).
