How often to service?

Hi there,

My Nissan Miscra 1l has done 178,000 miles since 1996. I used to drive about 12,000 miles a year and so I'd always go for a full service when MOT time came round.

However, circumstances change and this year I've only done 6,000 miles. Do you think I ought to take it for a full service anyway (£90) or would an interim service (£45) be sufficient?

My SR has done just over 80,000 miles, I do about 12,000 miles a year - it will get a major service once a year and an oil change every half year or roughly 6000 miles. I would stick with the major service once a year, especially as its high miles.

Definately still go ahead with the full service and i always have an oil and filter change every 3.000 miles!
