How much life is left?

Was wondering how long before the K10 disappears of the scenes, or what about K11's?

Finding a mint condition K10 is rare and K11's aren't always in best of conditions.

When I'm like 40 will I still love the micra, will MSC still be about, will me and paul still be working on MightyMicra?

I'd like to think the k11 will still be round.

Hopefully the rally market will keep it going because you do see a fair few at events

true, but in 20 years my golf mk4 will be the equvilent of the mk2 or even 1, they're few around now, those that are are dying or restored only

the mk3 and 4 should just die away and be forgotten about - both the GTi's were terrible models and brought shame on the GTi badge....

Sorry but it's true....

wont have to pay tax :D lol but then again, probly wont have any petrol to run it on

hehe,

I've always though if the mcira would be a classic - to many around at the moment, even the k10's to be classed that (even if they are 20 yrs old)...

I think in 15 yrs time the K10 will be a classic but the k11 will be a rusty run around (like the fezzies are now)

i doubt we will see very many k10/k11 in 20 years time, take the 100A Datsun Cherry (988cc fwd sound familiar)

once a popular site on britans roads now hardly any left even at classic/retro car shows.

Good Point - even the humble metero (classic - princess di style) is becoming rare..

And what about mk1 fezzies? hardly any of those.

My second ever car back in '82, god it was fun to drive, way ahead of the british offerings at the time, I'd love to find a decent one and restore it to concourse condition.

theres a guy 300 yards up the road from me with a mint 1.1 mk1 fiesta, its even got the original wheel trims.

K11 modding and racing has only just started to get popular over here.

BUt then again, the micra is exactly a common vehicle here. :)

when your 40???

when i have payed this car off im getting a propper sports car to scare me to death although i would have a micra for daily driving untill it falls to bits then scrap it :D
the micra is fun for what it is but its at the bottom of the car scale. 2.6 twin turbo is at the top IMO
