Think mine are getting a bit bouncy but despaired at thought of spending over £300 for Nissan ones grr. At work this morning, I found that a full set of K12 shocks from Koni is about £260, and they're adjustable (Y)!!!
I've got an electric impact wrench on the way and could borrow some spring compressors and I've been studying the service manual and is this basically it for the fronts (rears look dead easy):
Remove cowl and wipers.
Undo three nuts at top of strut
Disconnect ABS sensors
Undo two bolts on the steering knuckle
Remove entire unit
Compress the spring
Undo top nut
Remove top spring retaining assy
Remove spring
Reassemble with new shocker
Is that about right all you chaps who've done loads?
