How do speakers like these work?

Do you need to buy speaker terminals or do the red and black wires just go into those sockets?

looks like the wires just go into those little plug bits mate.

there called binding posts thay either have a screw thread on there a push fit like on a sub

you can either use wire or use bannana connectors

No mate all you have to do is unscrew them conneters and out them wires into the holes that you see when you unscrew the conneters and place the wire in the holes and screw down tight and you will be sorted.
