How do I find the serial number of my headunit?

Hi, my battery went flat recently, and now the radio is asking for a code.

I've looked in the manual and no code is there, and people on here seem to be able to translate a serial into a code.

How do I find the serial number of my radio? Can I get it to show up on the screen somehow?

My micra is from 2005 and is an E model is that helps at all...

Blimey that's quite a lot of hassle to remove a radio, I think I'll give it a go this weekend, hopefully I can get the serial number ok, thanks.
