Hello,

Photography is a huge passion in my life and i'm trying to get into the business. I've got my own Photography website (which needs updating)

My mate's recently got a digital SLR camera, a nikon D40x.. Is there anywhere online that gives decent tutorials on using different settings etc? I wouldn't mind having a go at getting some fancy pictures

I'm currently using a Canon 350D which considering how long its been out its still an excellent DSLR

i use www.photogalaxy.com for photography tutorials,help & advice

From what i gather there isnt much difference between the 350D and 400D,button layout is pretty much the same but i believe the menus etc are slightly different.

Wish i had waited cos i got the 350D and couple of months later the 400D came out

Some good shots on there I love my 350D Im updating my lens collection as often as possible just ordered a canon 100 f2.8 macro lens cant wait for that. Im looking at getting a website but for now i use FlickR and ephotozine.com they are canny for hosting and ephotozine for forums for help and techniques.

Automatic cleaning when you turn it off, higher megapixels and there's a 9 point auto focus

My Auntie and Uncle lived there for as long as I can remember, my paternal grandparents lived there as well, not far away from you, Windsor Road off Middletons Lane, and Vera Road off Boundary Road, both in Hellesdon, we used to go visit them all the time until they died some years back.

Do you touch the photos up in photoshop? That car one doesn't look right! pixelated blocks on the bumper for example

Nope i dont touch the photos (only to re-size and add my water marks) The HC logo you can see in the middle is my car club logo
