help with earthing please

hi guys so yesterday i tried the headache of a job of fitting a cd player to my wifes 2002 1.0.

after 5hrs the cd player never worked so a new one on the way. apparently not enough power going to it. but i have a new one on the way

whilst fitting i had managed to do something to an earthing point for the binnacle.
the backlight warning lights and indicator all lights up. whats stopped working is the rev counter speedo temp and fuel needles. ive been told its an earthing point can anyone please help

yeah ive done a search and it seems know one has had the same problem as me or ive mis read all i need to know for now is where is the earthing point for he binnacle if anyone has a haynes manual or similar or any sort of help will be great thanks again

so i think i hit a dead end with the earthing problem so if anyone can tell me where the fuse it is for the needles on the binnacle that would be awesum if it helps the interior light dosnt work either thanks
