help! trying to lower rear!

Gone with the matiz setup on front and worked a treat. Don't want to cut any springs for the back though! Any other ways of lowering back 50mm without cutting. Help is much appreciated!

my 05 matiz rear springs have dropped the rear 50+mm ash, i had to fit the rubber seats at the top tho (the springs were chafing the top perch slightly)
you will need the shorter corsa shocks tho

I got corsa shock but they didnt fit. the bottom of the shock where the bolt goes through is smaller than it is on the micra.

Where would i find them? Can only seem to find 35mm

most of us just fit the smaller m10 bolt ash, you would need progressive springs if you wanted to retain the stock shocks

Seems a bit dodgey having a smaller bolt tho? Does that bolt hold it well.

the earlier matiz rears will drop it 40mm+ but they wont be captive with stock shocks tho

ha if 40mm isnt enough ill go get some 05 matiz. then its just corsa shocks and m10 bolts?

I ragged my corsa shocks over everything, solid engineering and dw nothing snapped

Yep...I can agree they are fine....cut 2 1 /2 springs off mine with corsa shocks been running for a month ...all hunky dory...

Fitted matiz rears but only gave around a 30mm drop. Gona go breakers and get 05 matiz rear and see how they do with corsa shocks. Thanks for help guys!
