HELP: micra sounding like a subaru

hello all
this has recentley developed it used to be whenever it was wet and i had hit a few puddles but now it does it on start up it has that subaru burble which im pretty sure isnt normal i do have a blow in the exhaust but i dont think that would contribute much

any help appreciated

could be the baffles in the back box have gone

Id say a missfire in a cylinder. Replace spark plugs. See if that solves it.

After that replace dizzy cap and rotor arm.

the back box is les than 3 months old so i cant imagine its that
ill try tyhe plugs and replace the dizzy cap and arm (the arm is less than 2 years old though ) anyway as the probs need done ha ha

check the injectors, unplug each one seperately while the engine is running and see if it makes a difference.

happened before with me when i put the 1.3 injectors back in and i didnt connect the plug fully.

check your ht leads as well as they might be broke, something my mates used to do was unplug one to make it sound like a subaru on idle so best checkin sparks ht leads and dizzy cap and arm
