Help Gear Selection

Hi, Just joined. Can anyone help. My K11 1999 has a problem going into third from 2nd and 4th to 5th gear. Also trying to downshift from 5th direct to third. Only had it a week. Clutch bites quite quickly and does not slip.
Also i had a 95 1.3 very nippy this one is only 1.0 and not any where as near as fast. Any ideas to speed it up a bit?

Can't help with the gear problem.. But for speed, the best thing you could do is fit a 1.3 engine, it's a straight swap.

If not, 1.3 cams into your 1.0 engine, coupled with a decent induction and exhaust system should see some good gains.

Will check oil and clutch. As for engine replacement I'm not thinking of replacing at present. Just looking for quick easy improvement.

definately sounds like clutch adjustment.
