Heater Delete

Hi folks,

Removing & bypassing the heather matrix.

Are there any pros or cons to either looping the hoses back into each other inside the bulkhead vs joining the pipes that run from the block itself?

I've deleted the heater on my swap. Demister is a LOT less effective withoit heat. Had to fit wind deflectors so I can have the windows open in the rain to demist...

Cheers Andy for the use mine gets il be coating the windscreen with the anti fog stuff the rally / bike guys use.

Two little 12v PC style fans to get some air into the cabin I think

I'd consider just blanking plugs though:

Straight onto the coolant rail on the block itself?

Very! Not really seem them before would make some neat bolt covers etc too

Pack em with grease and zip them on

Well think of all the coolant weight as well as hose weight you are saving
Use em for those lost brake bleed nipple caps too

Haha those caps always find there way into my pocket at scrap yards got to keep your nipples covered!

I looped my pipes but the lack of heater in the winter was no good

Iv been reading and it says you are better to block off rather than loop as this can lead to problems.

A loop shouldn't cause any issues... that's how its designed to flow? Just minus a mini rad

As long as top of the rad bypass loop is below the top of top rad hose you should be fine, otgerwise you can get an airlock.
