Heat Gun...

Hey guys...I'm looking to get a heat gun so that I can get rid of the gunk on the side of my car, left by them darn side strips, and to then take my head lights apart (so that I can tint them) ...

BUT I know nothing about Hardware or machinery lol...but I am very willing to learn...so I don't exactly know what kinda heat gun to get...don't really want to spend a lot (because I'm tight :laugh: )... So iv seen these on Ebay...could any of you recommend me which one to get...or at least throw a guy some advice...

I mean they all look pretty good to me...just not to sure which one would do the job best?

They all do the same job tom! I don't think it realy matters what one you get. Just buy the chepest one.

don't use a heat gun you will end up stripping the paint off. have a look at this guide what james made for removing bump strips.

oh i forgot your not a club member sorry. use petrol to take the marks off with a ice scraper gently and then give it a good t-cut.
