I've been trying on and off for the last few days to get nearside headlight to work on dim or dip. (1994 Micra)
Drivers side works
Fuse Okay
Bulb okay
Checked switch unit in steering column with meter, shows circuit with circuit tester but no voltage out of unit on either main or dip beam wires,
Voltage is entering column unit.
Voltage exists on opposite side of fuse.
Is there another unit between column switch and lights ?
Why are near and drivers lights different ? and the near side has no direct
earth connection?
I have considered wiring near and drivers side lights together as they are on
15 amp fuses
Is this a good (or very bad) idea
Your help greatly appreciated
