headlight not woking, isnt the bulb !

well my passenger side headlight aint working, its not the bulb cause i replaced it. so what could it be ?

drivers side still works so wouldnt that effect both sides ?

Theres a fuse for each headlight (they are in the fusebox in front of the battery in the engine bay) one always fails because of water infiltration...which iirc is the passenger side.

if thats the prob, easiest way is just to rewire in a new fuse.

I had that, except the old one rusted and fused its self in...

I didn't bother rewiring it just replaced the fuse, I also coated the fuses with WD40 and all the connections to try and prevent it happening again, year and a bit later and It's still fine.

yeah i discovered the goosed fuse thing, no fuse in it. just a wire from one connector to the other ! so now i put a fuse in with a re-routed wire so now it works
