Hi all. The O/S headlamp of my 2001 Micra (1.4) wasn't working tonight and I traced the fault to a poor connecting plug at the bulb terminal pins. It had worked loose and caused overheating of the plastic plug, so it doesn't make a good tight fit on the bulb terminals, although I managed to get it working correctly at the moment. But I think it will play up next time I drive over a bump or pothole.
Also, I'm not certain that the bulb retaining clip is securing the bulb correctly. I can't see what is supposed to locate it at the top. Any advice, please? Also, if anyone has a spare plastic plug (with its wiring) for the headlamp bulb, please let me know.
