Guys need your advice on K12 Before buying 1 for my g/f

Anything in particular to look for before buying a K12?

my girlfriend's after the micra once again and locally it's cheaper than the new vitz. so that's an incentive to go after the K12.

had read a while ago that the start of K12's came with certain faults...

I've just found several 2004 K12's 1.2L ...

anything would be greatly appreciated? before the autodealer starts to persuade us to take it.

the only thing i can think from personal experience is check the front seats fold forward alright, mine snapped when I got the car home.

few engine problems and yea renault saved my job they have 50% of nissan iirc

Problems with timing belts after 50 000km only, aswell problem with the steering wheel wich becomes "sticky" after few years (bad material), boot with liquid leak when it rains or sometimes open on his own while driving, those problems have been "admitted" by Nissan in france.

Well I had a 2004 and it wasn't especially bad lol.
