Greetings Micra lovers!

Just found & helped a friend buy a 2000 Micra 1.0s for his daughter's first car http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=150562801754&ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT

The car is a little cream puff, pretty much immaculate & in amazing condition. One careful elderly owner & 13K miles in 11 years.

Personally, I'm not that impressed by super low mileage & think it overrated. My thinking is a car is a complicated machine & it actually benefits from being used. That said, we checked this one out pretty thoroughly looking for noisy chains & rattles on start up, rusty bits, squeaks & groans & all the usual stuff & really couldn't find anything amiss apart from it having the original tyres which are developing small cracks in the sidewalls. Nothing came to light on a 15 mile test drive, or on the 110 mile drive home. Fingers crossed, this looks like a great buy.

Now, it's due a service & I was wondering if anyone could recommend a reliable & trustworthy Nissan specialist in the vicinity of Maidenhead to Reading to Henley to Slough-ish.

TIA.

It is very early in the morning.
Why not service it yourself?
Genuine filter are very cheap and replacements are pence.
Very very simple and i have no doubt you've done similar before?

Thanks for the reply.

It's not my car. I'm trying to find a decent, reliable, honest indy for the new owner, a 17 year old girl, to use. Figured / hoped someone in the Micra community would know who's who in the world of servicing
