Grass Tracker Kill Switch

Help

This year we've left the Alternator in my grandson's racer, to keep the battery charged,

but now the Kill Switch won't kill the engine?

Turned off it stops it from starting, but won't stop it once running.

The switch is on the Earth (-) side, battery in engine bay.

You need the switch to cut the ignition feed to the coil (in the dizzy on a K11). Otherwise it will run and run until you stall the engine (or run out of fuel). You will need a FIA type switch to do this.
