getting my micra ready for mot

so far i rebuilt the left rear sill, cut out about 12inches of rusty metal and this right side cross member was 100% gone to rust, and the other side needed a patch,
mot is due in may and so is road tax, lol

its my daily driver so i need her to be working, engine runs great with 103k miles on the clock, i hope the car passes mot next week

i used 3/16 to rebuild with, alittle overkill but thats what i had so i used it,
and covered it in under seal

What is the extra bar above the cross member, running infront of the radiator? Not seen that before?

the bar that goes side to side or up and down?

side to side................aint it a bumper reinforcer?

The one that runs side to side is for the bumper

I scorned the car, havnt taken it to get mot, had to take a trip across the pond,
When I get back the car will get done, as it's my daily driver
